CTI ENTERS INTO MULTI-YEAR CONTRACT WITH MATHESON TRI-GAS

Cryogenic Transportation, Inc. ("CTI") announced today that it has entered into a multi-year product delivery agreement with its customer, Matheson Tri-Gas ("MTG"). CTI will provide the carriage of industrial gases from dedicated locations in Stafford and Odessa, Texas; Albuquerque, New Mexico; and West Palm Beach, Florida to MTG customers. This represents an expansion of CTI's existing relationship with MTG and is a significant addition to operations that it conducts at two locations for the benefit of MTG in California. CTI has significantly expanded its tractor and trailer fleet in connection with this new contract.

"This new contract represents a major step for CTI with MTG" said CTI President and Chief Operating Officer, Vern Ingham. "Our fleet has now expanded to 150 tractors and 175 cryogenic trailers". Ingham joined CTI late last year as President following 25 years at MG Industries where he was in charge of industrial gas distribution.

"The selection of CTI as our carrier was done in an effort to improve the over-all reliability of our delivery capabilities to our customers" said Daniel Lambert, Vice President-Product Management and Logistics for MTG.

Financing was provided for this contract by M and T Bank, Horsham, Pennsylvania through Gerry O'Loughlin, M and T Vice President.

Cryogenic Transportation is owned by David M. Boucher, David R. Hamilton and McFadden Brothers who were also the former owners of Chemical Leaman, the largest tank truck carrier of bulk chemicals in the US. Chemical Leaman was sold to Apollo Advisors in 1998 and then merged with Montgomery Tank Lines and now trades as Quality Distribution.
